Winter or summer, we'll show you the enjoyment of fishing the Lakeland area in northeastern Alberta. With more than 10 lakes to choose from and three species of fish to catch, your fishing experience is sure to be memorable.
During the summer months, you'll relax as your guide manoeuvres the boat along birch, spruce and poplar covered shores, with pelicans and osprey fishing along side. Listen to the cry of the loons while the catch of the day jumps in and out of the water nearby, and animals feed in the forested shore line; beavers, bears, deer and moose.
During the winter, your fishing experience will be through an ice hole which you help your guide to drill. Enjoy the crisp clean air of northern Alberta from the edge of a heated fishing shelter, with a warm beverage in your hands.

Summer and winter fishing excursions are done on lakes a few minutes to an hour from Lac La Biche. Your guide will choose the lake for your fishing experience based on fishing success, weather and road conditions.

In summer, your trip includes a morning’s fishing by boat, a shore lunch of tasty morsels using
some of the morning's catch, and then back to the boat for an afternoon of fishing.

In the winter, you will be transported from the edge of the lake by snowmobile to an ideal fishing spot on the lake. You will be provided with hot beverages and a warm lunch.
Tom Elliott, your guide and host for your fishing trip, practices and instructs on Natural Resource Management. To ensure healthy fish stocks, Tom encourages participation in a program of "catch and release".
Tom has been fishing the waters of the Lakeland area for 20 years. A further 15 years have been spent fishing in other areas of Canada and the northern parts of the United States. Come fishing in Alberta's Beautiful Lakeland Region.
