Microsoft Focus on K-12: Although this is a page featuring a comprehensive list of Microsoft's own Learning resources it has a lot more to offer than that. There is a collection of learning resources for parents, educators, and students. There are Idea Books for teachers, lesson plans, suggestions for activities that can integrate technology into the curriculum and hyper links to other educational sites, all with a Canadian perspective.

The pH Factor: The web site, "The pH Factor", was produced and is affiliated with the Miami Museum of Science. What can be found at this particular site is an educational resource directed at elementary and middle school teachers.The site won the "site of the month" award, awarded by the Eisenhower National Clearinghouse. All aspects of the site can be accessed directly from the main page. The site takes on a distinct approach in choosing a teaching method upon which the subject matter can be taught, "the Seven E's approach." Those seven "E's" being, excite, explore, explain, expand, exchange, and examine (all seven "E's" have their own web page). The other page accessed off the main page is a Teacher's Guide, which offers some suggestions for classroom use of the web site and the rationale behind the choice of "the Seven E's" approach. Moreover, the main page also gives a direct link to the Miami Museum of Science web page (which is the group that produced "The pH Factor" web site).The site contains multiple lesson plans, and activities with lists of required materials, and alternative approaches to lessons, materials, and classroom management.

Pedago Net: A service similar to a newspaper classified ad section. The focus of this site is to facilitate the exchange of educational resource material. Pedago Net is a web site whose intention is to provide a database of learning material for teachers to use. Instead of providing the material on the site itself, the database is divided into categories (adult education, arts, auto mechanics, biology, etc.), and then each category provides information on how to obtain the resource material.

Teachers Helping Teachers: Just what it says. A good site for finding lesson plans and to ask questions.

Teacher Talk Forum: Need to get an idea? Have an idea? Just want to talk? This could be the site for you.

Teacher Chat: Share ideas with other teachers around the world. Find keypals, projects, pen pals for students and much more.

The Well Connected Educator: An on line magazine for teachers. Check it out.

World Lecture Hall: This site provides hyper links to pages created by an international group of faculty, using the Web to deliver class materials about topics ranging from accounting to zoology. Has lecture notes, exams, multimedia and much more.
