Writers' Workshop Weekend

January 11 - 13, 2008

Enjoy the mental stimulation of a writing course along with the relaxation of our mountain setting.

Courses available:
  - Revitalize your Short Fiction with Candas Jane Dorsey
  - Characters for Novelists or Journal & Memoir with Amber Hayward
  - Playwriting with Timothy J. Anderson.

Candas Jane Dorsey - Candas' short stories have appeared in many anthologies and magazines. Her most recent novel is "A Paradigm of Earth".

Timothy J. Anderson - Timothy's plays have been presented at many locations, including the Edmonton Fringe Festival. He is the author of "Resisting Adonis" and "Neurotic Erotica".

Amber Hayward - Amber's unique approach to journal writing will plumb the depths of your memory and imagination. Her novel "Darkness of the God" (Part II of The Children of the Panther trilogy) was published in 2007. Her poems and short stories have appeared in many literary magazines.

Fee - $165.00/person (plus tax) based on double occupancy. Rates include Friday and Saturday accommodation, 3 meals Saturday, breakfast and lunch Sunday. Courses are scheduled to allow you to take one or two courses. Courses are $20 each.
