Welcome to issue #46. As you have already noticed we have added some changes to this issue. The four coloured pages in the centre of the magazine are a new addition I think most of you will really like. The idea came out of doing our new miniatures book on the American Revolution, Whites of Their Eyes. It was practical to include a map and counters in colour.
This issue features a 11x17 map extension for WestFront/EuroFront and the SeaLion scenario featured in issue #44. Another page contains the counters needed for the conversion of Leros to Bruce's miniature rules (all you need is Leros and a copy of Canadians at War or Drop Zone). The last page is a play aid for Jena. Hopefully their is something for everyone and if you need an extra copy of the sheet you can order it direct from us ($4 or $2 if part of another order). Readers are welcome to make suggestions on counters, maps or play aids that they would like to see included in future issues. This includes inserts and stuff that was done in black and white previously (like the Great Britain map).
Our web site is growing in size and information. Visitors will find news of upcoming issues and products plus questions and answers on existing publications. Check us out at: http://www.agt.net/public/cwgroup/cwghome.html. The web has been a good way for people to discover us and I think all small publishers would benefit from it. The email system has revolutionized how we communicate with contributing writers and interested readers. I also feel that it has allowed many game designers and publishers to function remotely and this has result in more quality games.
As mentioned in last issue's editorial some long turn subscriptions have been shaved back because of the format change. The number on your label shows the last issue you will receive without resubscribing. I would like to thank the vast majority of subscribers who stuck with us and it really is your support that keeps us going.
I feel that the twice a year frequency will allow me to maintain the quality of the magazine and still publish it on time. So look to the next one in September and have a great summer.
