Rocket's Red Glare

A 76 page booklet with a wide variety of information for the wargamer and especially the miniaturist interested in the War of 1812 which highlights Napoleonic warfare at a manageable scale.

This booklet contains background, miniature rules for naval and two land scales and 10 detailed land scenarios and 11 naval scenarios including the land/sea scenario at Plattsburg.

The scenarios can be played with any set of Horse and Musket rules and orders of battle are given at skirmish and battle scale.

Rocket's Red Glare is our third period booklet. It is an attempt to provide the gamer with background on strategy, tactics and painting information; miniature rules for naval and two land scales; plus detailed, balanced scenarios for land and sea. A gamer with some miniatures can jump right into the period with accurate, interesting scenarios. While primarily for the miniaturist there is plenty of information for anyone interested in the period. Special attention is given to "what ifs" and all lands scenarios can be played at battle or skirmish scale.

The War of 1812 is a great table top era because of its scale and colour. We try and give you everything but the miniatures to game it.
