The Apocryphon Johannis Papyrus dating to this time is claimed by some to be written by Apostle John and was first discovered in Cairo in 1896. It was only translated to English in 1995 and 3 other copies were discovered in 1945 in Egypt. They show how the early Christian Churches struggled with the meaning of religious truths, scriptures, about sin, redemption, the nature of God and the end of the world. By 2006 5,700 Greek manuscripts of the New Testaments have been discovered. The earliest is a tiny fragment from Apostle John dated to 120 A.D. There is little doubt that changes and additions were made to scriptures up to and including the 12 century. There are 10,000 different Latin versions and 200,000 to 400,000 other language versions.

Isis is the most enduring and beloved symbol of ancient Egypt, whose following is especially popular in the Greek and Roman periods. Isis represents the women who civilized Egypt by teaching agriculture, medicine and instituting marriage. She is totally dedicated to the service of mankind. Isis is the epitome of the selfless woman, the charmer, the endurer, and the loyal spouse. The following of Isis that endured for nearly 5,000 years is not eradicated until the reign of the Emperor Justinian. This is the final turning point of Europe from its maternal ancestry to a paternal philosophy and the inevitable turn into darkness from the light.

Boniface II (530-532) a Germanic rich man and anti-bishop of Rome is elected to by many of the same people who elected Dioscorus bishop of Rome. The Roman senate is so outraged by such unconstitutional behavior they forbid discussion of the succession during the current reign. The Brendan voyage lasted 7 years, and they discovered a beautiful land that they called "The Promised Land of the Saints". Some suggest the land was America, most likely Virginia. The Ogham writings discovered in West Virginia suggests monks were in Virginia about this time verifying the Brendan account. Some say the Brendan saga loses credibility because it claims Brendan and company were "raised up on the back of sea monsters", This is not so absurd as it sounds if you have ever been in a small boat in a 45 foot swell, "they passed by crystals that rose to the sky", an iceburg looks strangely like crystals, and we were "pelted with flaming, foul smelling rocks by the inhabitants of a large Island of their route", volcanic eruptions fits this description very well. It is more likely they refused to support a bishop who is subordinate to Constantinople. Justinian I (527-565), the Emperor of Constantinople firmly established the dependence of the papacy of Rome on the state expressed in the practice of payment of tribute for confirmation of any elected bishop of Rome.
