Daughter Jean Baptiste Spence Sr. (Le Vieux), Metis, born 1840 (or 1835) Sandy Bay Lake, Manitoba. and third wife La Louise (Caroline) Fisher, b-1850 (Fort Ellice) Manitoba, both listed as Metis.  Jean Baptiste Spence is son of Wichewask Spence born 1811 N.W.T. died December 18, 1897 Ste Rose and Marie Matwewinin born 1815 Totogan Mb in White Mud River, MB, died October 3, 1903 Stre Rose, Manitoba.  Source Delbert Garneau, great grand son and also Lepine notes.  Amide arrived Canada 1881 and arrived  Ste Rose Du Lac in 1891 and settled in St. Laurier - McCreary Parish.  Source Emile Lepine, Ste Rose du Lac, Manitoba.  Another source 1901 census # T6433 Ochre River P-5.  The 1901 census claim of Chippewa and arrival in Canada in 1881 would suggest Amide is born in the United States most likely of the Red Lake or Lake Superior clan which is originally from Quebec.  Also see 1854 Alexander Gourneau.  Lived 8 years Sandy Bay, 14 years Turtle mountain and living 1900 Turtle Mountain as per script application.
