September 4, 1999 - Folkdance Tour 2000 Begins!
Saturday September 4 – Glendon Peroghy Festival Performance: 11:00 am meet at Parent Child Center for short rehearsal. Travel to Glendon for 1:15 – 2:30 p.m. performance Dances: Bobon, Shawl, Volyn, Hopak CFDS: Cajun, Romanian Monday September 6 – Regular rehearsals begin 6:45 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday January 15 – Malanka 2000 Performance February 6 – Folkdance 2000 Tour begins with the Canadian Folk Dancers in ELK POINT (Elk Point Community Choir Hosting) March 4 – Folkdance 2000 Tour performance in COLD LAKE (Pirouette School of Dance Hosting) April 8 – Folkdance 2000 Tour performance in LAC LA BICHE Sunday May 7 – Kryla Spring Celebrations 2000 held at Dr. Brosseau School May 26-28 – St Paul Competitions – dances to be announced later. July 1 – Canada Day 2000 Celebrations in Bonnyville (Town Hosting) August 4-6 – Folkdance Tour 2000 dances in DAUPHIN at Festival. (Dauphin Festival Hosting - this booking is still not confirmed) Saturday September 2 – Folkdance 2000 Tour ends in GLENDON (Town Hosting) |
