Golden lights in cabins glow
Upon the hills, new fallen snow
The smell of woodsmoke from the fire
It's Christmas in the country

The scent of pine upon the door
Friends will gather near once more
A little mistletoe for fun
It's Christmas in the country

Hot mulled wine and gingerbread
Visions of Santa in wee sleepyheads
In the distance sleigh bells ring
It's Christmas Season once again
