Okay so here are really crappy pics of the finished product! My webcam SO sucks. Sorry, I left my pants on this time.

This shows where the Tattoo is on my body. It's on my right hip, so it's on the left side of this picture.
If you get lost, follow the line of my belly button to the left..see that weird blob? That's the tattoo.

This shows the whole thing. And what looks like a pot belly, but I'm slouching trying to use the mouse and angle the tattoo at the webcam.

This shows the shamrock/rose side. The rose is actually a butter yellow, with shading and purple highlights, and the shamrock is done in dark green fading to a very light green. I think the shamrock is my favourite. It hurt the most. I bit myself and pounded the table.

The meaning: Maple Leaf - I am Canadian, born and raised
Thistle = Scottish heritage, my Paternal Grandfather was born in Scotland, but raised in Ireland
Sunflower = Ukranian heritage, my Maternal Grandmother is Ukranian (Born in Canada, but her parented emigrated).
Shamrock = Irish heritage, my Paternal Grandfather's family was from Ireland (He was born in Canada)
Rose = English heritage, my Maternal Grandmother's parents emigrated, but she was born here.
